• saliva softens the leather so that the mouthpiece perfectly adapts to the anatomy of the horse’s mouth
• the side piece consists of rings, which cannot slide, so the bit is very stable in the mouth
• rider aids are transmitted more directly
• prevents pinching of the skin at the corners of the mouth

Note: The bit must be fitted so that the seam faces the mouth opening. Since it is a soft material, traces of use may occur due to the horse’s teeth. These do not represent a quality defect.
